We are an innovative survey company founded in 1999 and ever since headquartered in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We specialize in hydrography, marine geophysics, UXO surveys and precise marine positioning. Operating in offshore areas, coastal zones, seaports, and inshore waterways, supporting our clients with projects across the world.
We are passionate about what we do and dedicated to making a future-proof impact by providing our clients with emission-free, clean data. In this way we contribute to a blue economy and marine climate adaptation. Our goal is to deliver the highest quality, ready-to-use seabed data to our clients, acquired and processed in the most efficient and sustainable approaches.

Central to our operations is our fleet of specialized offshore, inland, and nearshore vessels, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment adhering to stringent ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 accredited protocols. Our achievements
Deep's office is powered by renewable energy and from the solar panels on our roof. Deep has been an early adopter of electric and hybrid vehicles since 2018.
The Deep Matters Foundation aims to preserve clean and natural rivers, seas and oceans, so that they continue to exist as a vital source of life for all life on earth.
Our office rooftop is home to a beehive with 4000 Buckfast bees. These tiny creatures are crucial not only for humans but also for the functioning of entire ecosystems.
Over the last couple of years, Deep's portfolio has been over 80% focussed on renewable energy, infrastructural projects and governmental work for coastal resiliance.
Deep is striving for a sustainable fleet. Our Uncrewed Surface Vehicles (USV’s) are very suitable for remote hydrographic survey operations and to work alongside installation or dredging vessels.
Deep is a pioneer in net-zero solutions such as the Deep Green initiative. Our Deep Green fleet of electric vehicles and vessels enables us to conduct emission-free survey work in inshore waters.
